Camp Fire Child Care and Development Center Director
This position will direct and oversee the daily operations of the Child Care and Development Center. This includes supervising 20-30 part and full time teachers, building enrollment and retaining participation, managing program budget, planning and executing strategic goals and objectives, assisting in communication and marketing efforts, and ensuring program quality and financial results. In addition to management responsibilities, the program director will also work with teachers and families to formulate recommendations for student placement, promotion, and provision of services. This position will actively participate in ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations including Minimum Standard Rules for Licensed Child-Care Centers issued by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Camp Fire USA standards as well as other validations and accreditations held.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
• Minimum of three years managing a licensed child care center
• Knowledge of research and trends in professional development in the field of child care
• Knowledge of the NAEYC accreditation or similar child care accreditation process
• Knowledge of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program
• Knowledge of CDA process

Site Director $10-$12 hourly, Program Specialists $7.50- $8.00 hourly; benefits available for some positions. Professional licensed child care experience preferred.

Day Camp Counselors, Program Assistant & Site Director
Multiple seasonal positions available for Day Camp Counselors. Hourly positions, varied schedules.
Seasonal positions available for a Program Assistant and the 6th-8th Grade Site Director.
Camptivity Summer Day Camp runs for 11 weeks, Monday-Friday, June 7 through August 20. The day camp is located at Lockheed Martin Recreation Area in southwest Fort Worth.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age for the Counselor positions and at least 21 years of age for the Program Assistant and the Site Director positions with previous day camp experience. Staff Training will be required before the program begins.

Multiple part time positions available for Assistant Teachers in our Infant/Toddler/Prekindergarten at our Child Care Development Center on Meacham Blvd. in Fort Worth. Child Development Associates Certification or Early Childhood Classes, and experience in childcare is preferred, the hours are 2pm – 6pm Monday – Friday; $8.00 and up.
