Camp Fire USA is proud to present its 3rd Annual Invitational Paint Out in the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Garden, to be held October 14 – 17, 2010.

A four-day event where nearly 40 artists will create original works of art for onlookers at the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Free to the public, visitors can enjoy watching professional artists as they create their paintings in an outdoor setting. All works of art created at the four-day Camp Fire USA Paint Out event will be sold at the Champagne Artists’ Reception on October 17.

An Artists' Christmas

Save the date to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Camp Fire USA's dinner gala and auction known as An Artists' Christmas!

The festive gala has become a tradition among Fort Worth patrons and marks the beginning of the holiday season.

The event features an art exhibition, silent and live auction of more than 100 pieces of donated art, dinner, dancing and live music. Underwriting and table sponsorships, along with the art auction, generate significant income for the many programs and services provided by Camp Fire USA to thousands of deserving youth across north Texas.

Annual Meeting

January 25, 2010

Camp Fire USA First Texas Council is governed by a volunteer board of directors, all of whom are leaders within north Texas communities. Every January, the board of directors hosts an annual meeting to address business such as:

  • the election of new members, officers and nominating committees 
  • changes to Camp Fire by-laws and articles of incorporation 
  • adopting resolutions which guide the board in its administration of the council 

The annual meeting is also used to recognize distinguished members of the board, tenured staff and to spotlight community partners, volunteers and program participants.

The 2010 El Tesoro de la Vida Benefit Dinner directly supports our week long grief camp. El Tesoro de la Vida provides an accepting, normalizing camp experience where children, ages 6 - 17, who share the experience of the death of a loved one can cry, play, laugh, and spend time with one another.

Celebration of Champions, a dinner and awards ceremony, recognizes excellence in childcare and honors those who have made an investment in their careers and a difference in the lives of our children.

Hosted in conjunction with the Fort Worth Area Association for the Education of Young Children, Celebration of Champions raises funds to provide scholarships for the continued training of child care professionals.
