Toni Hooten, Camp Director

Toni began her full time career at Camp Fire in 1998 leading an alternative education program for at-risk youth. In 1999, she accepted a position as Outdoor Program Director and was the Assistant Camp Director at El Tesoro. She became the Camp Director in 2000 and continues in that position.

Toni has been at Camp El Tesoro every summer since she was 5 years old, either as a camper or staff member and has a deep love for camp.

Toni is currently serving as a Vice President for the Texoma Section of the American Camp Association. She has also volunteered as a facilitator at the W.A.R.M. Place, a grief recovery center for children in Fort Worth, for the past 10 years.
