Campers enjoy a traditional overnight camp experience during 3 to 13-day sessions that promote self-confidence and independence. Whether riding a horse or canoeing down the river, El Tesoro offers exciting adventures for children entering grades 1 - 10.

Trained, qualified and caring staff lead campers in learning new skills and meeting new challenges. Campers also gain a sense of responsibility and respect for themselves, others and their environment beneath the trees and stars at El Tesoro. This summer, Camp Fire USA’s Camp El Tesoro is celebrating 75 years of camping tradition on the Brazos River.

Camp El Tesoro is located near Granbury, Texas,  just 45 minutes southwest of Fort Worth.

Camp El Tesoro is proud to have been accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) for over 50 years. ACA is a nationally recognized organization that focuses on program quality and health and safety issues of the camp industry. ACA-Accredited camps meet up to 300 standards for health, safety, and program quality.
